Located in Collserola, the Torrent de Can Coll Restaurant has a barbecue area that makes it one of the best places to enjoy a delicious barbecue. Here you will find all the necessary services: grills at your disposal, firewood and charcoal for sale, bar area, kiosk and WC… The area is surrounded by forest and it is also a passing area for various routes to do walking or cycling. It also has an area to play a game of football!

2. Begues Valparaíso
If we go a little further away from Barcelona, just 40 minutes away by car, we find the picnic area of Valparaíso de Begues. Begues is an ancient village at the entrance of the Parc Natural del Garraf, which is why it’s so great to have your barbecue here! They have more than 154 tables and what they call the Foc Rodó, a huge circular grill perfect for cooking for large groups, but for this one, you need a reservation! This picnic area, located in Montornès del Vallès, is the largest in Catalonia and one of the oldest too, in operation since 1945! It has a multitude of tables and barbecues in the open air and also under cover, so you won’t have to worry if it rains! It has everything you need to have a good time, such as several table football games, trampolines, a football pitch, and much more!

4. Parc de Gualba

In the Parc Natural de Gualba, an area declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, you’ll find the ideal place to organise your barbecue. This natural park, located in the Montseny mountain range, has two picnic areas and up to 40 barbecues, so if you don’t want to be left without a table, book in advance! We recommend that you take advantage of the day to go on one of the hiking trails in this park, and after passing by its wonderful river and walking through nature, you can finish the excursion in the barbecue area. There you will find everything and more, even in the summer months there is a swimming pool where you can take a dip! Even though it is a bit far away, we couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

5. Santa Creu d’Olorda
Near the Parc de Collserola, you’ll find Santa Creu d’Olorda, a small Romanesque-style chapel dating from 1032. Outside the church you’ll find several picnic tables and a small restaurant where you can buy everything you need to cook on the barbecue. It’s a great place to enjoy the views!

In addition to the barbecues, there is an area for sports lovers, you can play football, basketball, volleyball, there is even a mini-golf! As you can see, Can Via has all the essentials for a great day out, all you have to worry about is bringing your appetite!

7. Font de Les Planes
Fancy a barbecue but you’re not very good with fire? Don’t worry, at the picnic area at Font de Les Planes, located in Vallvidrera, you’ll find everything you need, and you’re not allowed to bring your own charcoal or firewood from home, so for an affordable price, this will be much easier for you. As this is a fairly inexpensive place, it fills up very easily, so we recommend that you go in good time to get a table.
