Izal is a band that has enjoyed a rapid ascent in the world of celebrity. Formed in 2010, they are a young band with a lot of heart. Their lyrics are soothing and written with a beautiful simplicity that complements the alternative sound for which the band is known.
Copacabana is their third and most ambitious album, with more electronic sounds emerging in the songs, a signal of the ban's development and expansion of the band into new musical territories.
According to their vocalist and composer, there are a lot of differences between this and their previous albums. "One of them is the time that we spent together in the last six years, so we are all much more synchronized. We know each other better and know where we like to go. The level of association is much higher than before. Also our circumstances have changed and now we have much more free time to dedicate ourselves to music. During work for the first two albums, we had other jobs too. We now also have more economic means to create a record with better sound. The result, for us, is a more complete album."
Drummer Alejandro adds that, "For the first time we've also had other collaborators. We worked with producers from Barcelona who contributed some different touches, compared to the other albums. It was like having a sixth head working on the production."
Catch them for what looks set to be an unforgettable show!

“(...) Solemn, serious and thoughtful male subjects inundate his work. Within these largely figurative works lies a burden of confrontation and frankness that penetrates the viewer; something that is only exaggerated by the visual element of his work: irregular angles intertwine with fibrous lines that sometimes imitate topographical maps. There is a conceptual relationship with the work: the artist narrates the formation of the relationship with his models while drawing them, as if he had mapped them physically and psychologically. His pen or brush acts as sensors that scan for substance and interest, for secrets and desires. They register inflections, cracks, contours and irregularities of the body (...) "
