Outer Space are a Catalan group formed in Barcelona in 2014; a project which was evolved from a personal mix of afro-carribean music styles, including afrobeat, afrosoul and ethioJazz, as well as the standard rhythms of 70’s funk. This explosive cocktail invites your mind to travel and explore the exterior world through an eclectic repertoire of original instrumental themes.

Their new album, ‘Chase Across Orion’ (Tucxtone Records), offers a mix of songs which aim to evoke magical landscapes and scenes similar to those of science fiction. The majority of the band members are keen to admit that the advantage of playing instrumental music is that it gives wings to your imagination so that it can explore and paint fantastical scenes.

Made  in the studios of Tucxone Records, this album is fresh and natural with frenetic percussion sounds, delivering the force and crudeness of  60’s beats.
