A night of all things Detroit: the much awaited collaboration between Moodymann and Carhartt Work In Progress launches this Friday 26th February in Moog club, Barcelona, with Moodymann performing alongside his former Detroit partner and producer Andrés.

Moodymann a.k.a Kenny Dixon Jr., a vocal character in the world of electronic dance music, prides himself on keeping a noticeably black imprint on techno and house music. Originally from Detroit, Moodymann mixes a tasteful fusion of techno and dance music with classic groove, soul and jazz to create his unique and successful sounds.

Moodymann will be playing alongside the also Detroit born and bred, house and hip hop DJ, DJ Dez Andrés in collaboration with Carhatt Work In Progress, presenting WhatUpDoe Spain.

Warming up for the nighttime event, the Carhartt Store in Barceloneta will welcome Andrés for an intimate in-store DJ set between 19h – 22h.

Both these events celebrate the launch of a compact clothing collection that includes iconic images from Moodymann’s well-established record labels Mahogani Music and KDJ Records.
