The invasion of Tibet in 1949 left 150,000 Tibetans in exile. Photojournalist Angel López Soto's work focused on issues of social denunciation and human rights, which he captured through his lens during a trip to Tibet, India and Nepal. This exhibition invites you to discover the most emblematic sites of the Himalayas, experience a testimony of the Tibetan exile, and understand the history and way of life of one of the most threatened communities on earth. The exhibition, which contains 23 large-format photographs, is accompanied by fragments by writer Javier Moro (Planet Award 2011) and filmmaker Gerardo Olivares, as well as a series of lectures and talks in collaboration withthe Casa del Tíbet Foundation in Barcelona, and other venues.
