Festival Millenni 18
Festival Mil·lenni 18 presents a diverse programming styles suitable to satisfy all audiences. The festival features concerts spread across forty different scenarios Barcelona from this November to May 2017 and there are still some names to be confirmed. The sites for the performances will remain the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Auditori, the Palau de la Música and other venues such as Razzmatazz, Apolo, Bikini or BARTS to which this year adds El Molino and Casino L'Aliança. The genres of music spread from classical music to rock to international pop. Some big names in the line up include Jain, The Devine Comedy and many more. Surely there is something to see for everyone.

Being self-employed, or “autónomo” in Spain is a more than ideal subject for a music comedy, in fact it’s almost surprising that this is the first time such a concept has been brought to the stage.
Set in a not too distant future, the crisis has come to an end and everyone is enjoying a stable job and maximum happiness. Alex’s wonderful life is shaken up when he’s canned and on the street. With one hand reaching ahead and the other on his mobile phone, like everyone else today, he will be forced to take charge of his own life: and self-employment is the only way forward. “Autonomos, the Musical” is a comedy that recounts the adventures of a thirty-something freelancer trying to survive against the cruel Tax Agency, clients with obsessive-compulsive disorder and a very odd accountant…

Comedy Stand-up: Phil Kay in Barcelona & Sitges!
Friday, April 7th “It’s easy to get lost in Kay-world” -Herald Scotland
Guiriness Comedy is back at Shamrock Bar on Friday, April 7th for the next show in its top comedy lineup; with Scotland’s favourite madman, Phil Kay.
Since bursting onto the comedy scene in 1989, Phil Kay has been a regular on the Fringe and UK comedy festival circuits. He is best known for his rollercoaster ride storytelling which has the audience gripping their seats with laughter. Always emotionally charged and usually a riot, Phil captivates the imagination of his fans with his remarkable freestyle routine. His whacky tales have scooped him the British Comedy Award for best stand-up and a Perrier nomination. Join and get lost in Kay-world!
Phil Kay is here for two performances: The monthly Friday night show in Shamrock Barcelona, then a Saturday night show in Wylie Brewery (Sitges). Both have excellent beers on tap, so head down for belly laughs in Barcelona or Sitges in stitches!

Doors 20.30h. Show 21.30h. Please come early on the night for seats. Late-comers may be standing room only.
There are a limited number of earlybird tickets online (10€). After that it’s pay-at-door (12€).
Can’t make it to Friday’s Show? Then come down to the Sitges show on Saturday 4th March. If you’re coming in from Barcelona, there’s a Monbus back from Sitges at 23.52h.
