Canadian choreographer Manuel Roque presents a solo show, inspired by composer Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem. Alone on a desert island, one man’s experience of his body becomes a journey into the collective subconscious, the origins of the world and the history of humanity. He is alive. The smallest ligament or the most miniscule particle of his skin are alive, and as he continues to explore, his body becomes more malleable, mysterious, marvelous.
