The Biocenter is one of Barcelona’s first vegetarian restaurants, located just off the Ramblas in the centre of Barcelona. It was founded over 20 years ago, and it pioneered the emerging vegetarian cuisine with organic ingredients, and new products ingredients such as tofu, kefir, and seitan in its creative and delicious dishes.
An excellent value lunch-time menu is available. This includes an extensive salad buffet with delicious vegetarian choices that include creative salads, whole grains, pasta dishes and vegetable dishes. Choose from cold soups such as traditional gazpacho and warm broths, perfect for the chilly winter days.
In the evening the a la carte selection includes specialities such as vegetarian curry, white wine seitan, ginger tofu, as well as vegetables, fruits, seaweeds and cheeses. The evening menu includes soup, salad, a special dish of the day and dessert. The wine list is second to none, with quality red, white and cava, including Riojas and Penedes , and sangria.
