There are galleries holding works of the well known Spanish artists such as Picasso, Mirķ, and Dalí which are frequently in the guide books. Also you can experience a wider range of contemporary art and culture at the MACBA. If you prefer works from around the Romanesque or Gothic periods visit the MNAC - dont get MACBA and MNAC mixed up or you might be disappointed!
