BARCELONA TAXIS and MINIBUSES

There are about 12.000 taxis operating in Barcelona. As well as being hailed on the street, taxis can be booked in advance. A taxi is available when its light is green. You can’t mistake a taxi as the colour yellow and black is very visible!

During the day, prices start from 3€ for a ultra short trip, such as from the bottom of La Rambla to Plaça Catalunya. Pick up points like the airport and bus stations have a supplement, and luggage also incurs an extra charge. An additional supplement is charged in the evenings, and on public holidays.

Tipping is always appreciated, but not expected.
