Market Santa Caterina

Following it’s renovation by Enric Miralles in 2005 the Santa Caterina market has become an iconic image in Barcelona. Its multicoloured, Gaudi inspired wavy roof covers an array of lively produce stands as well as restaurants and cafes.

It was built on top of a former Dominican convent which use to stand in the same place from which it takes its name. Its unique and beautiful design as well as the bustling commerce make this market a must visit.
