The good news is that Barcelona has some good English bookshops whose many shelves can keep you browsing for a long time. At the Come In bookshop you’ll find a good selection of new English. From the latest bestselling paperbacks, to literature, travel guides, reference books, poetry, economics, photography, food and drink, and much more. They also stock popular board games in English, including classic favorites Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, and Scrabble. Hibernian Books, on C/ Montseny (Gracia) has a large selection of second hand books, and also offer a part-exchange option for the books you’d like to get rid of. They also have books in other languages, and new titles.

You will find English newspapers and magazines abundantly in all the news stands on La Rambla, Passeig de Gracia and other main streets. Some also have a small selection of English books, of the bestseller thriller type.
