Barcelona has lots of great hotel terraces. If you want a luxury break and an escape from noise, stress and pollution, discover the top spots in Barcelona where you can relax and sip a cocktail.
From Friday 3rd June to Sunday 12th June, more than 60 of Barcelona’s top hotels opened their terraces to all visitors, offering tapas, workshops, wine, DJ sessions and even a catwalk show by Purobeach at Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona.
Many different and interesting activities were on the programme. H10 PortVell offered a sushi workshop, Hotel Cotton House organised workshops on cocktails, make-up, cooking, magic and more. OHLA Barcelona Hotel held a synchronised swimming show and Hilton Hotel a Torres presented wines tasting. For dance and music lovers, a workshop of salsa was organised at H10 Casanova as well as many others live music session. Other luxury hotels taking part of this week long terrace fiesta included the Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona, Mandarin Oriental, and the Eurostars Gran Marina Hotel.
Purobeach parade: Desfilada de moda 
Purobeach organised a catwalk show at Hilton Diagonal Mar and the only synchronised swimming show on the programme. We really wanted to see how it was for ourselves!
We were welcome with a bottle of Rosé which had a really specific design since the glass was in fact the lid of the bottle. The terrace was not full but the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The terrace was sunny, the waiters friendly and the models easy to talk with. It wasn’t a traditional catwalk; there wasn’t a podium and the models walked between chairs and tables. It was a great way to see Purobeach clothes, shoes and accessories.

Summer agenda
Other terrace events will be organised throughout the summer. Hotel Silken Diagonal on Avinguda Diagonal will host some parties on its roof during Sónar Festival. The rooftop is quite small and most events are invite-only. More information here.
On the top is another event you can attend at The Top, the Hotel Gallery’s terrace in Diagonal on Wednesday 15th. Entrance is 10€ and you can find some drinks, cocktails, food, and of course, music.
