The Eixample area is not renowned for its hostels and backpackers accommodation but surprisingly it has a lot of accommodation on offer. If you’re looking for a luxury postcode but budget accommodation then Eixample is the place to stay for you. There are loads of exclusive bars and amazing restaurants as well as hundreds of designer and high street shops especially in the area around Passeig de Gracia and Rambla de Catalunya.

If you’re staying in Eixample you’ll still find yourself very close to the centre. The hostels in Eixample are a great place to stay because they are nearby to everything but are also a bit quieter than the Gotic and Born areas so that you can get a better night sleep.

Eixample covers a very large area of Barcelona so as you would imagine there are a lot of hostels located there. For example, on one side there is the Backpackers BCN and on the other the Albergue Gaudi so it is important that you look carefully where your hostel is so that you can decide what you want to be closest to!
