Guinness Laughter Lounge is back on Friday, January 8th with an unmissable comedy show in our new venue.

Proudly presenting the hilarious stand-up comic Joe Rooney, best known for his character “Father Damo” in Ireland’s cult TV Series Father Ted. Joe is a regular comedy classic in Ireland, having starred in the Father Ted series as well as RTE’s Killinaskully. Hot Press has described him as “infectiously manic and always riveting” as one of Ireland’s “10 Most Wanted” stand-up comedians; always the headliner in comedy nights across the globe. He also recorded “The Rockier Road to Poland” single with Shane MacGowan.

Our new bigger better venue is The Shamrock Bar (C/Tallers 72) with good Guinness on tap! We have seating for 85 approx. and max capacity 100. What’s more, we will have an open mic jam session after the comedy show so musicians are very welcome to perform!

This will be a full house event so buy your earlybird tickets now to ensure seats (walkins on the night will be standing room only). Doors 20.30h. Show starts 21.30h.
