Fira per la Terra is Barcelona´s Earth day festival that takes place over the span of two days and its aim is to tackle the world´s ecological difficulties with the idea that everyone has a job to do to make the world a better place.  The event that is recognized around the globe was first started in the United States in April of 1970. Barcelona held its first Earth Day festival in 1996 making this fair the 21st edition.
