Girona holds its annual Black Music Festival throughout the first 3 weeks of March (1^st to 20^th March). With a huge variety of acts it is sure to appeal to a mass of music lovers, all coming to together to listen, enjoy and celebrate the beauty of black music. This year’s line-up includes both a Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse tribute amongst other original and creative composers, singers and artists. All artists appearing in concert night after night in the historic Catalan town are here to perform, embrace and recognise the achievements and work of black artistry, why not come and join them? Girona is easily reachable from Barcelona with regular public transport (see below), so visit the small but lively centre to hear some big voices from the local and international black community!

There are many different trains, whose prices range from the fast AVE (37 minutes, 55€ return) to the Regional Express (1hr 31 min, 12,56€ return)
