Espai Boisà, one of the first ‘cooking-school restaurant’espai-boisa-barcelona

Located in the Eixample neighbourhood, Espai Boisà is a ‘cooking school-restaurant’ that promotes Catalan culture and gastronomy. Organic, seasonal ingredients are sourced by local producers in rural Barcelona and used in the dishes made here.

This course is in English, so if you’re new to Barcelona or you are just visiting the city for a few days and want to learn how to prepare some local dishes, this course is for you!

You’ll be in a group of 4, under the coaching of one professional chef. Each group will prepare different recipes including their own paella. You’ll learn more about the organic wines of Catalonia, which is the world leader in organic wine production, see demonstrations of Catalan tradition around food and get detailed recipes.

You will then enjoy eating your creations, while learning about some of the cultural habits around food.

These courses specialise in all types of cuisine. You’ll still be coached by a professional chef, and use all the materials of the amazing kitchens. A course lasts about 2.30 hours

The next course takes place on the 20th July for a ‘Tapas Asiaticos’ at 20:00. On the 27th July you can learn how to cook “Hamburguesas con sentido” at 20:00. See more here.

Launched by three Galician friends who share the same passions – their love for Spanish gastronomy and desire to share it with the world, Barcelone Cooking offers a unique, fun, and memorable cultural experience for travelers visiting or living in the beautiful city of Barcelona.

First opened in June 2012, they provide the best cultural and gastronomic experience with cooking classes, tapas and market tours.

Barcelona Cooking also organise private events. If you are looking for a unique way to celebrate a birthday or special occasion, a cooking class can be an original idea. You and your guests will participate in the preparation of various dishes under the thoughtful guidance of chef instructors, and then share the meal that you prepared together.
