 | This is the most important competition for photojournalists all over the world. An exhibition made up of the winning entries of the World Press Photo Competition as well as the best photos from 2008, filling the CCCB with the best photojournalists of today. The candidates are selected from submissions made by agencies, newspapers and photographers around the world and they compete within eleven different categories, including news events, current affairs, people in the news, sports, action photography, sports reportage, contemporary issues, daily life, portraits, nature and art and entertainment. Every year the winning photographs take a tour around the world visiting 80 cities and 40 different countries.
