 | This exibition, through a collaboration of the Musée des Arts Decoratifs de París in 1974, Arts Santa Mònica and the Museu del Joguet de Catalunya in Figueres, we are presented with the outstanding collection of Françoise y Guy Selz. The children of the Selz couple, Dorothée y Phillippe Selz, over the years have treasured the incredible and nostalgic collection which began in the 20th century.
This exhibition sends us back to a time and culture that is rapidly disappearing from a world full of new technologies. The collection consists of scraps, crepe paper, reliquaries, crosses, votive offerings, birds, dolls, toy animals, masks, toy soldiers, popular prints, albums of stickers, toy boats, and much more.
