 | El café is a play that follows the stories of different characters taking place all at once wiht the café as the meeting point of everyone lives where each character comes for various reasons. The author, Carlo Goldoni, and director, Joan Ollé, create an entertaining scene showing moral corruption through brilliant comic characters: the kindhearted Ridolfo, the owner of the café, Eugenio, the incorrigible player, Vittoria, his hopeless wife, the deceitful Don Marzio, Lisaura, the supposed protégée of Conde Leantro, Pandolfo the rascal, and the mysterious Placida.
