 | The 12x12 Theatre Company present this classic play, by the 20th Century Sicilian playwright Luigi Pirandello.This is a satirical tragicomedy drama about 6 characters who stumble into a theatre rehearsal and demand that the director writes their story. Fiction and reality instantly blur, and instead of the interpretation of a shared reality, a series of conflicting perspectives and ego-driven masks unfolds. This adapted version was re-contextualized by Rupert Goold and Ben Power in 2008 into a dark exploration of our society’s obsession with the media, the definition of art, us and the limits between art and reality. This production is performed in English with subtitles in Catalan.
