 | The Photographic Social Vision Foundation and CCCB present for the first time in Barcelona a selection of exhibitions of “Visa pour l’Image-Perpignan”, the most prestigious professional festival in the field of international photographic documentary. Four photographic projects have been chosen from all the exhibits that were displayed at the 2011 edition. With over 170 photographs, this exhibition stands out for its diversity of contemporary photographic genres portrayed, offering the public the opportunity to gain a deeper insight into in four events that made the headlines last year. These include the Tsunami in Japan, the Arab spring, the narco-culture in Mexico, and the daily life of a mutilated woman and fighter in Uganda.
