 | Every Friday until early September, the open air cinema season carries on in full swing throughout August and this month Poble Español have invited the Mecal short film festival to screen an eclectic variety of short films, from burleque to bang-bang, and animation to manga. Winning pieces from previous editions of Mecal will be presented, alongside old time favourites and new talent. This is accompanied by a parallel program of live music, DJs, and audiovisual entertainment, which you can enjoy from the priviliged position of a hammock! And to prove this really has the making of a perfect summer’s evening, there is even a barbecue, and a bar where you can get cold Moritz beers for just 1€ from 8pm-9pm. |
