 | On the 15th and 16th September, the Goethe Institute in Barcelona is holding open days for anybody who wants to experience a slice of German culture. Over the two days, exhibitions and films will be shown; there will be the opportunity to have German lessons and naturally the chance to sample some if the most famous German food. The event is open to anyone, especially students with an interest in Germany and German culture.
The Goethe institute itself aims to promote Germany and its culture throughout the world through helping foreigners learn the language. It also has a more cultural aim by offering in depth information on all aspects of German life. It also works closely with the city of Barcelona and local institutions to promote the German language and Germany throughout the city.
