 | The 20th edition of the L’Hora de Jazz takes place throughout the month both in Barcelona and the nearby Vilafranca del Penedès. What began as a small concert on Sundays in September is now growing considerably. The festival aims to promote authentic Catalan Jazz music and short concerts will be held both in the Plaça de la Vila de Gràcia as well as the Plaça Sant Joan in Vilafranca del Penedès which are free of charge. The festival also includes concerts during the evenings in bars and cafes in both Barcelona and Vilafranca for which there is a small entrance fee. The opening night of the festival on the 3rd September is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the event. |
