 | The next Tuesday the 8th of June, The Colectania Photo Foundation exhibition inaugurates the exhibitions: "Portuguese Contemporary Photography" that brings together works from the two most important collections of photography from Portugal:, Besart - Colección Banco Espírito Santo and Fundação Serralves - Museum of Contemporary Art, Porto.
This exhibition will focus mainly on authors that reformed photography during the 80s. Their ideas and impressions are on topics such as the landscape, the portrait or critical interpretation of the Social Reality.
The exhibition, curated by Joao Fernandez, director of the Foundation brings together photographs and installations from 28 artists and is part of the Portuguese festival.
Among the authors participating they will be showing: Patricia Almeida, Catarina Botelho, Andre Cepeda, Filipa César, Júlio António Duarte, Miguel Leal, Edgar Martins, Duarte Amaral Netto, Luis Palma. |
