 | This new exhibition explores the facinating relation between Barcelona private collection of african works of art and contemporary works at the Ceramic Museum. The exhibition analyises works such as Picasso’s black mask aganist a vase form the Lwena de Angola culture, or a recip[ient to capture bad spirits from the Cham and Mwana cultures in Nigeria aginat Miors’ woman and bird sculpture. The show questions the limits of influence, meeting points in works of art and searches for the individual beauty in all art.
